Chinese New Year Bazaar @ Miri

Chinese New Year is around the corner. For me, kinda exciting as this is the first time to experience the Chinese New Year vibes here. At the same time, t'was invited to go to some photo shooting at the Chinatown in Miri with a friend Eric. The bazaar was nice, with all the decorations, a giant god of fortune. The food was nice but one particular cuisine that was everywhere is the "Kuching Open Market No.30 Siew Bee". So, well, enjoy.

A Creative Panorama
As soon as I parked my car, this old sign board just caught my attention.

All around the bazaars is decorated with Chinese lanterns like these. Fantastic.

One of the talented artist. He can put your face on paper in a jiffy.
The main tree just beside the roadside is fully decorated with Chinese lanterns.
Just practicing.
Used Photoshop to achieve the effect is available on DSLR.

This is one of the main deco that was under the big tree.

People just like to get all fun. Haha~

The must have food during Chinese New Year, Bah Gua (肉干)
Also, this is a traditional food during the Chinese New Year. Nian Gao (年糕)

God of Fortune to bring great luck to all Miri citizens.

Always on the look out. Gotta have them around.
