Miri Jazz Fest. 2009
This is the 2nd time i went as a schlepper to Miri Jazz Fest. It was another awesome event. This time round, i took the opportunity to capture some frames to improve my photography skills. So, here are the frames i took in time. Comment as u like. Help me improve. Enjoy~!
Him again with his Sony Alpha that he bought in Aussie for only AUS$ 700++...T.T...I wan...
Anywayz....
A Chung Hua kid playing on the Tenor Sax. They are jaming with the Bombay Baja Brass Band from UK that afternoon. It was fun looking at them playing crazily.
On the first day morning, I was just hovering around Pavillion and i came across this antique, a Marshall Amp. Nice...
From the back view.
The night starts.
Bands performing for the MJF 2009.
John Neptune on a Japanese Flute.
Random shot.
He shall be the next generation Jazz player.
I particularly like this pic that I took.

Imagine how many buttons the technical crew has to mess with.
My second favourite picture.
Photographer at serious work.
Rehearsal.
Pianist at work.
Went outside to snap some shots.
Bright sunny day. Ahhh....
Pauls Tenor Sax. I still like this pic.
Jazza from Traxx FM.
Rumba Calzada.
Mia Palancia from Double Take. Damn nice voice...
Newton's Third Law.
Crazy Band gets Crazy Crowd.
Bombay Baja Brass Band in Final Jam. Awesome!
Everything has to come to an end.

A Walk in Taiwan (IV) 《台湾之走》《第四篇》
Hi,
Since I am a bit free now, I have decided to update Day 4 also in A Walk in Taiwan Series. Have fun!
A shop selling Chinese Fungus (灵芝).
Fungus that are processed and sliced. Nice looking ones.
Besides Fungus, they sell other stuff like this skeleton of a deer embryo. Scary.... Believe to have healing even. So, they are trying to say the death can help a person to live.
Believe it or not. These two packs of Fungus cost RM 2000++ Striking~!!
A jagung stall at the side of the road. Stop by to enjoy the food and sugar cane. Haha! Still like those corn. They have corn with sugar cane flavor. Meaning that the corn is cook in sugarcane syrup.
Nice scenery just behind the stall. I love Taiwan's terrain!
This is the Temple of Thousand Buddha.
On top of the temple, random picture I took with a beautiful sunset.
They do have a small baby Buddha too. Hehe! Cute!
Similar to most temples in Taiwan, they have this deep flavor of Chinese architecture.
Looks same as those you see in old style Chinese movie.
Same here with the Temple that is in the middle of the city. A tiger and a dragon if you are to notice closely.
Day 4 ends with coming back to the 21st Century a the Dream Mall doing some shopping.
